We recently wrote an article for working moms, and it was featured on a lifestyle publication that empowers mothers to thrive called Motherly.

It was picked up by and syndicated on Yahoo! News globally, and it’s titled Working mamas: 4 ways to find more fulfillment in every aspect of your life.

Even if you’re not a mom, we believe you’ll enjoy the four ways of fulfillment suggested, like getting clear on your why.

You can read the full article on Plum & Parcel’s homepage at plumandparcel.com!

Now, when it comes to this episode, which is awfully relevant to the article, we have some new rules around balance for you career-driven mothers, whether you're a corporate career gal or a stay-at-home mama.

Whatever you want to say about who is and who isn’t a working mom… new moms are working at staggering high rates.

Between building a career, maintaining adult friendships, family time - there’s a lot going on in everyday life. Add motherhood to the mix, and things get exponentially more complicated.

And, if you’re like us, who tend to go to the wrong sources for advice sometimes (cough, cough, the internet) in search of the secret to balance, you probably strike out too.

So, we’re rewriting our own rules to the 40-hour work week…

If you want to hear our thoughts on achieving that elusive ‘work life balance’ and the four rules we’re applying to our every day life, take a listen.

Let us know which resonate with you too!

It’s no secret that purpose-driven marketing is powerful and so many brands have adopted their purpose, but many often put the cart, i.e. the marketing and messaging, before the horse… Plum & Parcel included.

Purpose brings us together. It’s often at the center of many of the companies we work with and for, and for good reason.

It’s in our human nature… the way we talk to each other, the way we think about our lives, the way we exercise our time, gifts and voices. Purpose is important to all of us.

But, what’s even more important as marketers and communicators, is that we hold ourselves and our counterparts accountable to lead with purpose, so our stories of impact are rooted in truth and follow through.

Tune in to hear how you can put purpose at the center of it all!

I am not the only one talking about annual planning, and for good reason. Annual planning and goal setting is crucial to growth.

Annual plans help us hit our goals, but also direct our time. How we choose to allocate our time is a gift. If we're not good stewards of it, it ends up directing us. So, annual plans help us avoid this!

I'm curious… have you decided how you will spend your time in 2024? Have you strategically planned for milestones you want to hit? Businesses or offers you want to launch? Things you want to do?

If you have, great, but have you incorporated all parts of you into your annual plans?

Annual planning and goal setting shouldn't be saved for just our professional life. It should include our personal, relational, physical and spiritual goals too.

If you desire to bring all parts of you into your annual planning and goal setting and need a process that works, I have something for you.

Whether you're a total planner like me (hey girl!) or run a little more spontaneously, this week, we're bringing you Your Annual Plan Reset: 7 Steps to Including All of You in Your 2024 Goals.

From getting placed in a dream publication to multiple, unplugged vacations with your family, we'll help you relook at all your deep desires, map them out + make them happen in the new year.

Hi friend, Do you relate to this?

Having two kids in the last four years means I've had a lot less time to sit down and read a good book… even though reading is SO important to me.

In 2023, I had a goal to read 10 books, but you know how many I read? Maybe 5.

So, here I am sharing my five fave books on purpose, life and biz from the last five years with a new and achievable goal and system for 2024.

Tune in to hear why these are my fave books from the last five years, plus the five I'm reading in 2024 (and more importantly, how)!
